The suns out so it's time to show a little skin and a great way to do this is with cut outs. There are loads of ways to wear this trend whether it's a cage back dress or a long sleeve t-shirt with slitted sleeves. Just remember to wear some suncream or you could end up with a really weird tan line...

Summer Styles

Summer has most definitely started, school is almost over for me and soon I'll be going away! This gave me the idea to do a post on clothes for holidays. I am absolutely rubbish at packing as I always just want to take my whole wardrobe! So this post will hopefully help you if you have the same problem as me. I've decided that a way to cut down on clothes is to take mainly just one 'style' of clothes with you, this means that they will all look good together so instead of taking lots of separate outfits you can take a few items which you can mix and match! Depending on where you're going, what you'll be doing and, of course, you're own personal style, this style of clothes that you take will differ. So here are my top 'styles' for summer holidays...

1. CLEAN GLAMOUR

This style is very sophisticated. The shape of items should be clean cut and the colour palette should consist of mainly white. Accessorise with simple, yet modern, gold pieces. 

Essentials: A white maxi dress, a thick gold cuff, tailored shorts and modern sandals.

2. COLOURFUL BOHO 

This style is pretty much the complete opposite from the last! Think hippie chic meets Moroccan market. Bright colours, aztec prints, tie dye and bold jewellery are all key elements.

Essentials: An aztec/ikat print bikini, a tie dye coverup, tribal jewellery and beaded sandals.

3. NATURAL

This style is a bit more subtle. For colours you should stick to nudes and earthy colours like rust and brown and materials should be very textured such as crochet or raffia. A few crafty accessories here and there will enhance the look.

Essentials: Crochet shorts, woven beach bag, feather earrings, and espadrilles.
