Animals

Just want to start off this post by saying, do you like my new blog header? Took me a while to figure out how to do it, lots of googling and editing on photoshop, but finally I worked out how to do it after saving it about 10 times as different types of files..

But anyway back to fashion. So this season on the runways we have seen lots of animal prints and pictures of animals. Now, I'm usually not a big fan of animal prints (I think they can look a bit tacky sometimes) but this season they have been done a bit differently and I am loving them!

The animal print look used to be dominate by the leopard print, with its luxurious quality, but now the animal style is heading for a more modern, quirky direction.

Here is the old style in a Dior dress from a few seasons ago

And heres some examples of the new animal style

Louis Vuitton

Temperley London

Prada

Here are some high street pieces with this edgier and more modern animalistic look

            2. Dear Kikiwoo
              I am a leopard
and I find you encouraging people to wear me offensive to my religion
i want to stay alive for as long as possible and just today someone asked me if it was alright they killed and used my fur for fashion, of course i said no and ate them.
I dont like eating people or being used as fashion so dont discriminate against me
IS IT COS IM A LEOPARD?
My daughter read this and now wont come out of her treee

              how awkward..
              Yours sincerely

            4. Still seems to be a lot of the older kind of leopard print hanging around though... but I really like all the stuff you picked out!

and that 'lucy leopard' comment kinda made me laugh a bit ;)
