It's a pretty easy trend to master as you can turn it into so many styles. You can make it girly with ballet pumps and a pretty top, or more edgy with a denim jacket and boots. If you're stuck with what top to wear the skirt with then you could just go all out ballerina and wear a leotard, but I wouldn't wear a pink skirt and a pink leotard because it may end up looking like you're in fancy dress, unless the pink is a very muted one that is almost nude. To make the look less little girly dress up, and more casual, you can tuck a simple t-shirt into a ballerina skirt, just use one in a muted colour like grey or white so as to keep the look simple.
